Lucille Virginia Bailey, 18, died at the Burlington hospital late last night after a short illness.
Miss Bailey was born here in Burlington Sept. 13, 1917, and attended the local public schools and was a member of this year's graduating class. Miss Bailey was affiliated with the First Baptist Church, taught in the Sunday school and was active in the Young People's society.
She is survived by her father, Henry Bailey; Mrs. Maggie Bailey and Mrs. Carner, tow aunts living here in Burlington, and an uncle, Frank Bailey of Burlington. Several other relatives are living in Davenport, IA.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church on Friday afternoon at 4 pm. The Rev. Mr. Clark will be in charge and interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
