Obituary
Following an operation performed for the removal of her appendix after she had been brought to the hospital in a serious condition on December 29, Mrs. Augusta Bade, a life long resident of this city died at the Burlington hospital at 4:30 Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was born in Burlington on March 2, 1862, and was a member of the Grace M. E. church, Paul Caster lodge of Rebekahs, the Hawkeye Natives auxiliary and the Degree of Honor. She resided at 404 Summer Street.
Her husband, Fred Bade, preceded her in death 25 years ago and she is survived by two brothers, Fred and Theodore Landhouser of Burlington.
Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Bade will be held at 2 pm Sunday afternoon from the home at 404 Summer Street. Burial will be made in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
