Obituary
Mr. Charles Bockhouse passed away at his home, 1108 Corse street, at a late hour last night at the age of 59 years. Mr. Bockhouse had been ill for the last two months but his family and friends had hoped for a complete recovery.
The deceased had been a resident of Burlington for the past forty-four years and during the years of maturity was employed by the city. He was noted as being efficient and industrious, a true friend and a good husband and father. He is survived by the widow and five children: Mrs. Clara Gibbs, Mrs. Lydia Hadler, Mrs. Ida Huppenbauer, and Wm. Bockhouse, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Lula Boner of Yarmouth.
