Mrs. Marie Celeste Bacher, 76, of 1014 S. Leebrick, died Monday afternoon in Burlington hospital after a brief illness.
She was born May 4, 1891, in Burlington, the daughter of Lewis A. and Anna Marie Horst Miller, June 24, 1922, she married William A. Bacher at Indianola. He died in 1957. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving: A daughter, Mrs. Dale Anderson, of Burlington, with whom she lived; a son, William L. Bacher, of Chicago; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Helen Petzold, or Kansas City, Mo.; and a number of nieces and nephews. A sister is dead.
Services: Thursday, 2 pm, Prugh's chapel; Mr. Morris Stokes; Aspen Grove.
