Mr. Bertha Ann Babb, 68, of 302 Second St, Coralville, died at her home Friday after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 1 pm Monday at George L. Gay Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Brail officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Sunday morning. Mrs. Babb was born April 17, 1901, in New London, the daughter of James and Rosetta Fiedler Vanlandingham. She and Thomas D. Babb were married at Burlington in 1916. They moved to Coralville in 1958 where they operated Babb's Restaurant.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Burlington and the Iowa City Moose Club Auxiliary.
Surviving is her husband: two brothers, Ray Vanlandingham of Chicago and Jess Vanlandingham of New York; two sisters, Ms. Edward (Rosemary) Fieser of Iowa City and Mrs. Francis Castle of Chicago.
