Funeral services for William A. Eccles, who passed away Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock , will be held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home, 1102 South Fourth street. Friends are invited to attend. interment will be private. He was born in Albia, Ia., December 28, 1860 and was 61 years old. Mr. Eccles had been ill for some more than a year before he passed away at his home. For a number of years he was a faithful employe of the H.L. Kelly Implement company and of late was employed by the Churchill Drug company. Mrs. Eccles preceded her husband in death several years ago and he is survived by his daughter, Miss Jane Eccles, a teacher in the Burlington schools. He was a member of the Elks lodge and had a multitude of friends in Burlington who will mourn his passing.
