Mrs. Sophie Bokenkamp passed away at Mercy Hospital yesterday morning. After an illness extending over one year. She was a native of Burlington, was educated in the Burlington schools, and had lived here all of her days. She was held in the highest esteem in the circles of her acquaintance. Mrs. Bokenkamp leaves the husband, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Fry, and Mrs. Caloine Ihne, and a brother Henry Droege, all residents of Burlington.
Mrs. Bokenkamp was only 48 years of age, and all who knew her regret that her days should not have been longer. The funeral will be held from the family home, No. 512 South Tenth street, at 2:30 on Monday afternoon. The friends are invited to these services.
