Obituary
Will Bokenkamp, a former Burlingtonian, passed away in Muscatine yesterday, after a year’s illness. The remains will arrive here Tuesday and will be taken direct from the train to Aspen Grove for interment.
Will Bokenkamp was born in Burlington and was 48 years and 6 months of age. He was a plumber by trade and went to Muscatine about eight years ago, where he established himself in business, worked hard, and prospered as he deserved. About a year ago, failing health compelled him to retire from business. He leaves the widow. He is also survived by the following sisters and brothers; Mrs. John Roth and Mrs. Chas. Taeger, here; Al Bokenkamp, Burlington; Frank Bokenkamp, of Chicago, and Henry Bokenkamp, of this city. He will be held in kindly remembrance by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, who had come to recognize his numerous excellent qualities. He was a member of the Elks at Muscatine, and they have charge of the funeral services.
