Obituary
William Boltz, 58, of 1525 Grove Street, died suddenly in the yard of his home this morning at 8:30.
Mr. Boltz had been in poor health for the past eight years.
He was born in Decatur, Ill., Nov. 8, 1880, and was married Sept. 6. 1906, to Mayme Knoll. He was a member of Eagles Lodge, MWOA, of Bethany Lutheran Church, and of the boilermakers union. Mr. Boltz worked as a boilermaker at the Murray Iron Works 34 years.
Mr. Boltz is survived by his widow; twin sons, Edward and Everett Boltx of Chicago; and three sisters, Mrs. Ed Kush and Mrs. Otto Schalia of Decatur and Mrs. Emma Schwaibe of Milwaukee, Wisc.
The body was taken to Prugh’s chapel.
Funeral services for Mr. William Boltz, who passed away Sept. 20, 1939, at 8:30 am will be held in Prugh’s chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. RR Belter will officiate. Friends are invited. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
