Obituary
Donald Eugene Young II, infant son of Ryan Young and Shayla E. Mathews died Saturday, August 5, 2012, at Great River Medical Center. Survivors include his parents, Ryan Young and Shayla Mathews of Burlington; four brothers, Travis Young, Tyler Young, Robert Mathews all of Burlington and William Mathews of Hillsdale, Michigan; one sister, Courtney May of Burlington; paternal grandparents, Kathy Young and James Poland of Burlington and Richard Young; paternal great grandparents, Donald E. and Joan Young of Fort Madison and Georgia Nupp; maternal grandparents, William and Lorrie Strawhand of Knotts Island, North Carolina; maternal grandfather, Scott Mathews of El Paso, Texas; three paternal uncles; four paternal aunts; one maternal uncle and one maternal aunt. He was preceded in death by one uncle and five great grandparents.
The funeral service for infant Donald E. Young II will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 9th, in Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Bettyanna Bremer will officiate. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. and the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the time of service.
