Fred Carl Anhalt, 61, of 800 Sweeny avenue, died at his home Wednesday at 10:15 p.m. after an extended illness. He was born in Burlington, May 13, 1887, the son of Mr and Mrs. William Anhalt. On Jan.14, 1925, he married Minnie Schmidt in Burlington, He was a member of St. Luke Evangelical & Reformed church and worked as an elevator repairman until illness forced his retirement. Surviving are the widow; a brother, William, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Wagner, all of Burlington. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Prugh's chapel. Rev. Ernst Press will officiate.
