Charles "Chuck" J. Stout, 55, of Burlington, died at 8:00 AM, Friday, September 18, 2015, at his home in Burlington.
Born July 7, 1960, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Wesley E. and Lyla Jean McKeown Stout. Chuck married Wendy Dowell and they later divorced; he married Angie Wilkerson they later divorced; he married Shelly Hines and they later divorced.
Chuck owned Stout Plumbing and operated the Lincolnville 66 Service Station & Towing for several years with his father.
He enjoyed his T-bucket roadster, Harley motorcycle, his animals and his many friends. Chuck was a hard worker, a handy man of many talents.
Survivors include his parents Wesley E. & Lyla Jean McKeown Stout of Burlington, IA; one daughter, Samantha (Joseph Wright) Dohman of Burlington, IA; two sons, Jerry Stout of Iowa City, IA, and Tanner Stout of Burlington, IA; one grandson, Axton Dohman; one granddaughter, Meika Wright.
Cremation has been entrusted to Prugh-Thielen Crematory. A graveside ash committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Chaplain Randy Gearhart will officiate. Those attending the service will meet at Sunnyside Gate prior to the service for a procession to the gravesite.
A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
