Mr. Frederick Wemmie died last night at the residence of his son, John F. Wemmie, at 1217 Linden street. He was seventy-two years old and a retired wood worker. Mr. Wemmie was born in Germany December 21, 1844 and came to America when a boy. Most of his life was spent in Burlington. For a number of years he worked for the Burg Wagon company. His wife died in 1893. Mr. Wemmie is survived by three children, John Wemmie and Mrs. Fred Broeker, of Burlington, and Mrs. D. Hemmie, of Danville, one brother, George, of Des Moines county, and two sisters living in Germany. The funeral arrangements will be announced later,
