Obituary
Mrs. L.C. Wallbridge, 710 North Fourth street, well known Burlington resident, passed away at 5 o'clock this morning at Burlington hospital, where she had been a patient only a few days. Although she had been in poor health since late winter, when she submitted to an operation, she was apparently regaining her strength when pneumonia and complications set in. Mrs. Wallbridge was born in Burlington Feb. 1, 1865, the daughter of the late George and Hannah Boeck. On Oct. 23, 1902, she was united in marriage with L.C. Wallbridge, cashier of the First National bank, who preceded her in death about seven years ago, as did one son, Walter. An ideal mother, the home was ever foremost in Mrs. Wallbridge's daily life. She was of exceptionally strong character, and endeared herself to a large circle of friends who will sincerely mourn her passing. She was a member of the What-So-Ever circle of The King's Daughters and the P.E.O. society. Surviving are a son, Lewis; a sister, Mrs. E.C. Gnahn, of Burlington and two brothers, Geroge Boeck of San Antonio, TX and Albert Boeck, of Burlington. Funeral services will be announced later.
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna B. Wallbridge were held this morning at the residence 710 N. 4th street. Burial was in Aspen Grove cemetery.
