Obituary
The funeral services of Walter Schramm Wallbridge, the 7 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Wallbridge, were held from the family residence at No. 713 North Third street, yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. The rooms were filled with sorrowing relatives and friends. The white casket rested on a light gray pedestal, surrounded at the base by many floral tributes, consisting of roses, carnations and other beautiful flowers. The service was conducted by the Re. William Salter, D.D. pastor of the Congregational church of this city. In his address Dr. Salter spoke of the Saviour's love of children. "We never need go far to find the Saviour" said Dr. Salter;"for we can find Him in one of these little ones. Despise them not, for in heaven their angels do always behold the face of our Father which is in heaven.' What a revelation is this. They go to a goodly company, where they are in safe hands. Let this hope comfort the parents. So as the dark angel of the heavy wings is enshrounding this scene, we may think of the bright angels on the other shore, who are ready to receive the little ones into the realm of peace." The interment, which was at Aspen Grove cemetery, was private.
