Mrs. Clara F. Wedertz, 1718 Mark Lane 80-year-old widow of Alex Wedertz, died at 5:55 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis hospital after a brief illness. A life resident of Burlington, she was born here June 16, 1871, and was married to Wedertz in 1894. He died May 14, 1933. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Lucille Sisler, Davenport, and Mrs. Iram Leffler, Burlington; 2 sons, Roy and Ralph Wedertz, both of Burlington; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, 2 brothers and a great-grandson are dead. Services will be at Burnett Wallen funeral home at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
