Mrs. Elizabeth C. Zaiser, 66, native and lifelong resident of Des Moines county, succumbed to a long illness yesterday afternoon at 1:10 o'clock at her home, 2404 Sunnyside avenue. Mrs. Zaiser was born in Franklin township, October 10, 1861, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schilb. She came to Burlington many years ago and was united in marriage here to John A. Zaiser, who preceded her in death in November, 1909. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church here. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. T.D.T. Humberger of Burlington, Mrs. L.J. Degen of Ft. Madison, Mrs. Henry Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Ia., and Miss Magdalena Zaiser at home; one brother, John Schilb of Prairie Grove, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Tuesday afternoon at a time to be announced later.
