Obituary
Mr. John E. Ebert, a well known business man, passed away at his home, 910 Linden street, Saturday morning at 7:15 o'clock, after an illness of five months. He was born in this city, March 13, 1880. Thirteen years ago he left Burlington for Texas remaining there two years, when he was called home by the illness and death of his father. Since then Burlington has been his home. Ten years ago he became a member of the Henry Ewinger Plumbing & Heating company. On March 10, 1910, he was married to Luella Moyers, who with two children, Jack and Helen, survive him. He also leaves to mourn his loss his mother, Mrs. C.J. Ebert; three sisters, Mrs. E.W. Wischmeier and Miss Frieda Ebert. Mr. Ebrt was a member of the Master Plumbers' association and the Moose Lodge. The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the residence, 910 Linden street, the Rev. Dr. Robert Neumann officiating. Friends invited to services at the home. Services at the cemetery private.
