Harrison M. Lindblad, 84, of Grafton, North Dakota died at 5:22 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at REM of Grafton, North Dakota.
He was born February 28, 1931 in Drayton, North Dakota, the 11th child in a family of 13 children, to Axel Victor and Mary Ellen (Meyers) Lindblad. Harrison moved to the Grafton State School on October 3, 1938 and then into REM-ND in the Manvel Group Home on October 5, 1987, where he made his home until the time of his death.
Harrison was a man of humor and loved to play jokes on his staff and the people he enjoyed being around the most. Harrison loved animals, especially dogs and birds. He was a member of a bird watching society in his younger years.
Survivors include one sister, Marian Daugherty of Burlington and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and six sisters.
The graveside funeral service and interment for Mr. Lindblad will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 10th in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
