Obituary
Charles Bergman, 502 ½ Leebrick street, died at 6 pm Tuesday in Mercy hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Sweden March 27, 1861, and had resided in Burlington for 60 years. He came to the United States 62 years ago.
For many years he was employed at the Murray Iron Works.
He married Helga Johnson in Burlington Sept. 25, 1884. He was a member of AOUW lodge.
Surviving are 2 sons and one daughter, Arthur and Carl Bergman and Mrs. Esther Reucsh all of Burlington; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday in Prugh’s chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
