Mrs. Ida Alice Baker, 74, of 817 Gertrude, died at home Tuesday.
She was born Sept. 9, 1888, at Burlington, the daughter of John L. and Patsy Palmer Brooks, and was married to Lewis K. Baker, Aug. 30, 1906, in Burlington.
She was a member of St. John’s AME church.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Brown of Burlington; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Crummer of Galesburg, Ill., and Miss Cora Brooks of Burlington.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 pm in Prugh’s chapel. The rev. Marshall Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
