Lillian R. Baumgartner. 84, of 115 Ballard St., West Burlington, died at 7:45 pm Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1988, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Aug. 28, 1903, in Galva, Ill., she was the daughter of Bert and Augusta Nelson. She married Floyde Baumgartner Sept. 16, 1929, in Glava, Ill.
She was a graduate of Gem City Business College. She was a clerk for the West Burlington Post office before retiring in 1970. She was a member of the West Burlington United Methodist Church and Faith Circle.
Surviving are one son, Byron Baumgartner, West Burlington; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 pm Friday at Lunning chapel.
The service for Mrs. Baumgartner will be 10 am Saturday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. John Cornish officiating. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the West Burlington United Methodist Church.
