Mrs. Brown was an active and consistent Christian woman, a member of the Methodist church, having united with that body when she was but twelv years old. She carefully trained her children in her belief and all are Christian men and women. in her long residence in the city Mrs. Brown had formed many friendships both in her church and home life and her death is mourned by all of her acquaintances and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dora Tomlinson and Mrs. Annie Staples, two sons, Bishop J.J. Andress and Dillon Andress of Oakland, Ia., and a nephew, Guy Tomlinson, of Morning Sun. The funeral services will be held from the Frist M.E. church Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
