Yesterday afternoon Selma Wegener, the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wegener, of 1519 Gnahn street, passed away. Her death is one that possesses particularly sad features. She was an ambitious girl and one of more than ordinary ability, and in order to perfect herself in her studies more rapidly than her school mates at the German evangelical school, she overtaxed herself by studying too diligently. The strain told on the delicate constitution and last week chorea set, in, followed by other complications of the heart and lungs, and death resulted at 4:40 yesterday afternoon. The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the house.
