Obituary

Mrs. Minnie Duermeyer Anderson, 1152 Ash street, died at Burlington hospital Sunday following a brief illness. She was born in Burlington Nov. 8, 1883, the daughter of Herman and Carolina Aspelmeier Duermeyer. She married Albin Anderson Feb. 17, 1920 in Burlington. She was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed church, the Women's guild of the church, the Hawkeye NAtives and Senrior Citizens. She had been employed by Mr. and Mrs. William Carson as a housekeeper for 45 years.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. William Gerdom, Burlington; and a number of nieces and nephews including Mrs. Everett Funquist and Edythe Gerdom of Burlington. Her husband, parents and a brother are dead.
Services will be held at Prugh's chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. R.G. Beck will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
