Anna Wells. 69. resident at King's Daughters home for Old People on Leebrick street. died in Burlington hospital at 3:45 o'clock Sunday morning. Anna was born in Burlington, October 4, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Charles Klem who carne here from Germany. She was married to Jeff Wells. who preceded her in death and for many years she lived in Santa Ana. California. returning to Burlington three years ago. For the past eight months she had been living at the Old Peoples home. She was a member of West Hill Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emma Damm of Chicago:Ernest and Albert Klein Burlington and a number of nephews and nieces. A son, Dr. Carl Wells preceded her in death,Funeral will be held at West Hill M, E, church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery. The cortege will leave Prugh's chapel at 2 p.m.
