Funeral services were held at the residence this afternoon for Mrs. Mary Dee Gilbert, 1037 Hagemann avenue. She was born Oct. 5, 1855, in Danville, IA. She was married to William F. Gilbert, a Civil war veteran. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Gilbert, died in Burlington hospital Thursday. Mrs. Gilbert was a member of First Christian church for many years. Surviving her are two sons, George L. Gilbert, Bismarck, N.D., five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
