This afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. Winter was held the funeral of their daughter, Mrs. George Eggleston, who died yesterday afternoon after a lingering illness. She had been a resident of Ft. Madison in recent years but was formerly a Burlington girl, and was loved by a wide circle of friends in this city. She died at the age of 43 years and 6 months. She is survived by a husband and one daughter, Laura.
