Obituary
Mrs. Hazel Hayden Bacher, 601 Twelfth St. SE, Cedar Raids, died Monday after a brief illness. She was a former resident of Burlington.
Last rites will be held at 10am Thursday at the Brady chapel in Cedar Rapids. Burial will be at Aspen Grove cemetery, in Burlington.
A native of Chicago, Mrs. Bacher had been a resident of Cedar Rapids for 28 years. She was born Sept. 23. 1888, and was married to Herbert O. Bacher. They were married in Ft. Madison. Mr. Bacher died March 11, 1963. A son, herbert Bacher, Jr., died in 1930.
Surviving are a son and three daughters; James Bacher, Mrs. Paul Turner, Mrs. Clark Morrow, and Mrs. Murray Barnett, all of Cedar Rapids.
Also surviving, are 15 grandchildren, a brother, and three sisters.
