Mr. Jesse James Brockett, 52, of Burlington died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Great River Medical Center - Emergency Treatment Center.
Born October 24, 1961 in Burlington, he was the son of Harry D. and Shirley A Connelly Brockett. On May 23, 1981 he married Patricia "Patty" Leonard in Burlington.
Mr. Brockett was a laborer working for various companies. He was a member of Moose Lodge #579 of Burlington and loved spending time with his girls and dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Brockett of Burlington; one daughter, Rebecca Brockett of St. Louis Missouri; his mother, Shirley A. Brockett of Burlington; two brothers, Jeff Brockett of Burlington and Donald Brockett of Birmingham and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, father and daughter, Angela Marie Brockett.
The celebration of life for Mr. Brockett will be 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 30th, at the Moose Club. Inurnment will be at a later date in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
According to Mr. Brockett's wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
