Services for Edward B. Gnahn, 64, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Prugh's chapel, the Rev. Bruce masselink officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Gnahn received the title of Burlington's Citizen No. 1 Tuesday evening at the American Business Club's annual dinner. Barely 72 hours after he got the award, he died at his home following a heart attack. Gnahn was president and general manager of Chittenden & Eastman company. He started there as a clerk trainee in 1916. A native of Burlington, Gnahn was born July 15, 1893, the son of Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Gnahn. He never married.
