Obituary
Mr. Robert L. Brissey, 70, a former Burlington resident, died at Marshalltown Hospital at 5 pm Sunday, March 23, 1980. He had been living at Grandview Acres Nursing Home, Toledo.
Born Aug. 7, 1910, he was the son of Alvine and Lea Brissey. He married Sylvia Long.
He was a retired JI Case machinist.
Surviving; Two sons, Robert Jr. West Burlington, and Jack, rural Burlington; three stepchildren, Leon Long, Tama, Otto Long, Springfield, Ill., and Mrs. Connie Martin, Burlington; four brothers, Alvin, Kenneth and William, all of Burlington, and Fred Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Bloom, Burlington and Lillian Storkes, Albuquerque, NM; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 1:30 pm Thursday, Prugh’s Chapel, the Rev. Bruce R Pullen; Aspen Grove Cemetery, Garden of Peace.
