Beulah M. Brissey, 92, of Burlington died at 12:40 am Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at OSF St. Francis Continuation Care Center in Burlington.
Born Sept. 17, 1906, in Keithsburg, Ill., she was the daughter of Oscar and Myrtle Mae Catterton West. On Nov. 2, 1931, she married William Brissey in Monmouth, Ill. He died Sept. 7, 1987.
Mrs. Brissey was a homemaker and member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Burlington.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Brissey and Russell Brissey, both of Burlington; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Leona Wilt and Lillian Laue, both of Burlington.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
Visitation will begin after noon today in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm.
The funeral for Mrs. Brissey will be at 10 am Wednesday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Evans officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial was established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
