William E. Brissey, 74, of 1607 Silverleaf Ave., died Monday, Sept. 7, 1987, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Aug. 10, 1912, in Burlington, he was the son of Albine and Isa Lea Gray Brissey. He married Beulah West Nov. 2, 1931, in Monmouth, Ill.
He was a truck driver for Armour-Swift and Burlington Paper.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Joyce King, Burlington; two sons, Charles Brissey and Russell Brissey, both of Burlington; his stepmother, Aletha Brissey, Burlington; two sisters, Dorothy Bloom, Burlington, and Lillian Stork, Albuquerque, NM; two brothers, Kenneth Brissey and Alvin Brissey, both of Burlington; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Thursday at Lunning Chapel.
The service for Mr. Brissey will be 10:30 am Friday at Lunning Chapel with Dr. Raymond Reed officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
