Obituary
John Daab the well known baker, died about half past one yesterday at his home on Washington street aged fifty-five years. Mr. Daab was born in Hesse Darmstadt, Germany but for the past thirty years or more has been a citizen of Burlington. He was in business with August Krieckbaum for some time but for a good many years has been running his business alone. About twelve years ago he removed from the old stand opposite the old C.B.&Q. depot to the stand on Washington street which he has since occupied. He leaves a wife, a sister of Geo. Boeck, now travelling in Europe with Mrs. Boeck, and a family of four children, all grown. The funeral will be held at two o'clock Sunday from the home.
