Obituary
Mrs. Caroline Boesch died at her late home, 1201 North Central Avenue, at noon yesterday.
The deceased was 66 years of age and was the wife of Christian L. Boesch, who retired from active business life some years ago. Mrs. Boesch came to Burlington, when she was but 16 years of age and has lived here ever since, making her residence in this city about fifty years.
She was one of the best-known women in this vicinity, and on account of her genial manners and good-natured ways, she attained a position that anyone might have envied. She was noted for her hospitality and always had a good word for everyone.
She is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Messrs. Sam and John Sellers, Miss Lizzie Sellers, and Mrs. Jack Winders.
The deceased was a member of the German Methodist church and the funeral will be held from that place at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
