Mrs. Mary C. Wemmie, 88, Middletown Rt l, died at 5.'55 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, in Memorial hospital. She was born Jan, 10, 1884, in Burlington, the daughter of F. C. and Emma Lauenroth Huneke. She married Frederick Wemmie in Burlington Feb. 27, 19(N3. He died Dec. 2, 1958. Mrs. Wemmie was a member of the Oak Street Baptist church, Golden Oaks, and the missionary service guild of the church. Surviving: Two sons, George, Batavia, and Albert, Rt. 3; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Kohrs, Stafford, KS. , and Mrs.Emma Weyl, Middletown Rt. 1, with whom she made her home; nine grandchildren, seven great•grandchildren; one
brother, George Huneke, Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Anna Rieke, Burlington; several nieces and nephews, Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, Oak Street Baptist church, Rev. John Ziegler; Aspen Grove cemetery. The body is at Prugh's chapel.
