Albert Wemmie, 73, of Route 5, Irish Ridge Road, died at 1:36 p.m. Aug. 22. 1989, at Burlington Medical Center Born Nov. 24. 1915. in TamaTownship. Des Moines County, he was the son of Frederick and Mary Huneke Weqmnie. He married Alberta Verna Schulz June 22, 1939, at Madison, Neb. He was a farmer and had also at J,I Case Co.before retiring. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, two sons Donald Wemmie and Mark Wemmie. both of West. Burlington; two daughters. Mrs.Linda (William) Bozwel]. rural Burlington, and Mrs. Donna Beyer. Burlington; one Sister. Mrs. Anna Kohrs, West
Burlington; one brother, George Wemmie, Batavia; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel.The service for Mr. Wemmie will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating.. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Calvary Baptist Church.
