Keith Albert Wemmie, 10 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wemmie, Burlington route 2, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday at Burlington hospital after an extended illness. Keith, whose illness was such that he could not even
stand to listen to a radio, was swamped with valentines and several gifts earlier this year after a Hawkeye Gazette story of his plight. He was born Nov. 10, 1940 in Burlington, and was a member of Oak Street Baptist church. Surviving are his parents; 2 sisters and a brother, Donna Mae and Linda Ann; and Donald Dean, all at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wemmie, Burlington, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schulz, Madison, Neb. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Street Baptist church. The body will be taken from Prugh's chapel to the church.at 10 a.m. Wednesday and will lie in state there until the services. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
