Mable Bresser, 92, of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., formerly of Burlington, died at 3:30 am Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at her home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1911, in Claire. In 1929, she married Henry Bresser in Fort Dodge. He died Nov. 20, 1969.
Mrs. Bresser owned Mable Bresser Real Estate.
She moved to Burlington after her marriage until 1972, when she moved to Stuart, Fla. She has lived with her daughter since 1999. She was a lifetime member of First Methodist Church in Burlington. She was active in League of Women Voters and Community Chest.
Survivors include one daughter, Janis Bresser Tansey of Fort Lauderdale; six grandchilren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son.
A private family graveside service will be later in the summer.
