Henry C. Bresser, 65, 2205 Madison Ave., died Thursday, Nov. 20, at 2:10 pm at Memorial Hospital, Mercy unit, following an extended illness.
Mr. Bresser was sales manager for Hayman Co., Davenport division, and was formerly a member of the board of directors of Schramm and Schmeig Co.
He was born July 3, 1904, in Burlington, the son of GH and Dadie Oley Bresser.
He was married to Mable E VanHorn in 1929 in Ft. Dodge.
Mr. Bresser was a member of the First Methodist church, Malta Lodge 318, AF&AM, the choir of the First Methodist church, was a 32-degree Mason, and a member of the Davenport Consistory and the Elks club.
Surviving; The wife; a daughter, Mrs. LL Tansey, Satellite, Fla.; a son, John Bresser, Sheboygan, Wis.; four grandchildren; a brother, Ira O. Wright, Clearwater, FL.
Services: Saturday, 3:30 pm prayer service at Prugh’s chapel, followed by graveside services at Aspen Grove Cemetery; Dr. G Dempster Yinger. A memorial has been established
