Conrad Gustave Carlson, 75, of 1505 Thul St., died in Mercy hospital at 6:05 a.m. Sunday. He was the son of Carl and Johanna Hultquist Carlson, and was born May 22,(sb28)1891, in Burlington, where he was a life resident. Mr. Carlson was married to Louise Rishcaway in Burlington on Sept. 18, 1929. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, the Eagles lodge, and the VFW, and Des Moines County Barracks No. 1101, Veterans of World War I. He was a carpenter by occupation. Surviving: The wife and brother, Clifford Carlson of Winter Haven, Fla. A brother and a sister died previously. Services: Prugh's Chapel at 1:30 Tuesday, the Rev. Raymond Swanson, Aspen Grove cemetery.
