Ewald Mauritz Larson, 79, of 1008 S. 14th died Sunday, Aug. 22 at University hospitals in Iowa City. He was born Sept. 21, 1891 in Sweden, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Larson. He was a painter, a member of the painters union and the Lutheran church. Surviving: two sisters, Mrs. Regina Larm, Burlington and Mrs. Mildred Gockel, Menton, o.; one brother, Herbert Larson, Burlington; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Sheagren funeral home, Rev. G.A. Saathoff; Aspen Grove cemetery.
