Mrs. Anna Bresser, 69, died at her residence, 2030 Osborn Street, Friday at 6:00 pm after an illness of many years.
Her husband, FW Bresser died Nov. 7, 1936. She was a member of Zion Evangelical church and the Ladies Aid Society.
The was the former Anna Timmermann and was born in Germany. June 30, 1867. She was married to FW Bresser in Burlington, on Sept 10, 1889. Six daughters and three sons survive; Edward of Chicago, Minnie of Grand Island, Neb., Mildred of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. RO Ewinger, Mrs. Fred Strauss, Mrs. EO Matsch; William, Oren, and Helen of this city. Also surviving are three sisters and five brothers, Mrs. Henry Griffel, Mrs. Charles Miller, Mrs. John Aicher, and Henry, Joe, Louis, Fred, and Otto Timmermann, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 pm Monday, conducted by the Rev. AF Koeling. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
