Betty J. Breakbill, 63, of 630 S. Gunnison St., died at 6:05 am Tuesday, April 21, 1992, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
Born Nov. 20, 1928, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Aubert and Edna Dunn Talbott. She married John W. “Bill” Breakbill on Oct. 7, 1968, in Burlington. He died on March 20, 1983.
She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include three brothers, Roy Talbott of California, Lawrence Talbott, and Leonard Talbott, both of Burlington; one sister, Lucille Talbott of Burlington; and a foster daughter with whom she made her home, Patricia Pitts.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Prugh’s Chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. Breakbill will be at 1:30 pm Friday at Prugh’s Chapel with the Rev. Jean Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
