John Henry Webb, 61, of West Burlington, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at his home. Born Oct. 18. 1941, in Marianna, Ark., he was the son of Ernie B. and Leette Thompson Jones. On July 9, 1993, he married Geraldine A. Fullenkamp in Burlington. Mr. Webb was a heavy equipment operator and a self-employed janitor. He was an ordained deacon and member of Union Baptist Church. He was on the usher board, drove the church van and ministered to the sick. Survivors include his parents; his wife; four daughters, Yvona Davis of Flint Mich., Beverly Warren of Madison, Wis., and April Fullenkamp and Pamela York, both of Burlington; eight sons, Timmy Wise of Toledo, Ohio, Vanzel Sherrod of Milwaukee, Wis., Charles Fullenkamp of Fort Madison, Fred Seay, Tyrone Seay and Micheal Seay, all of Keokuk, and Lawrance Ross and Clifford Seay, both of Burlington; 37 grandchildren; 17 great-grand-children; one brother, Iva Lee Thompson of Fort Madison; two sisters, Betty Wilson of Burlington and Georgia Thompson of Davenport; uncles, aunts, nieces nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepparens, maternal and paternal grandparents, two brothers, two uncles and two aunts. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday at Prughs Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral for Mr. Webb will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Lawrence Manson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Memorials have been established for Great River Medical Center Hospice and Union Baptist Church.
