Emil B. Braun, 77, of 1408 Harrison, died at his home Wednesday, May 4.
He was born Sept. 9, 1905, in Burlington to Joseph and Mary Ann Mohler. He married Verna Adams Aug. 1, 1926, at Quincy, Ill.; she died Sept. 9, 1979. He was a retired construction welder and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Malta Lodge AF & AM.
Surviving; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Bartlett, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Barbara Campbell, Exira, Mary Lou Dyer, Charleston, Ill., and Sally Crocker, Chicago; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Northrup, West Burlington, and Mrs. Margaret Moore, Burlington: two brothers, Carl, Burlington, and Edwin, West Burlington.
Services held at 10:30 am Saturday, with the Rev. GA Saathoff officiating. Interment will be in the Aspen Grove Cemetery. Masonic services will be held at 7 pm Friday at Lunning Chapel.
