Arthur A. Bratton, 83, 1211 ½ N. Ninth, died at 4:25 am Saturday in Mercy Hospital.
He was born March 3, 1884, in Keithsburg, Ill. On Dec 7, 1919, he married Naomi Opal Wise, at Oskaloosa. He was a retired Drake Hardware Co. receiving clerk.
Surviving: The wife; three sons, Robert, of Burlington, Earl, of St. Charles, Ill., and Estel, of Greenley, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jefferies, Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Elizabeth Ruth, Greenley, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Gaylor, Keithsburg, Ill., and a brother, Walter, of Des Moines.
Services: Monday, 2 pm Prugh’s Chapel, Rev. Horace Ireland; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
