Dorothy Anderson, 58, a former Burlington resident, died Thursday, Dec. 19, at her home in Warsaw.
She was born June 10, 1927, in Des Moines County, Iowa, to Walter and Bertha Lister Patton. She married Elmo Anderson May 24, 1947, in Burlington, Iowa.
She was a member of the West Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving: Her husband; one daughter, Elizabeth Rupert, Charletteworth, Engladn; one son, Richard, Tulsa Okla.; four sisters, Viola Poffenbarger, and Gladys Snakenberh, both of Burlington, and Lois Kelly and Mary Kidder, both of Roseville, Ill.; three brothers, Dennis and Wayne Patton, both of Burlington, Earl Patton, Hillsboro; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services: 3 p.m. Monday, Dec 23, West Hill United Methodist Church, Burlington, the Rev. Wesley Lawrence officiatng; Aspen Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Sheagren Funeral Home.
