Don G. Brandmeyer, 61, of 1018 Mount Pleasant St., West Burlington, died at 12:05 pm Sunday, May 19, 1996, at Burlington Care Center.
Born Nov. 9, 1934, in Burlington, he was the son of Everett and Ethel Lucille Watson Brandmeyer.
Mr. Brandmeyer was a retired produce manager for Benner Tea Co. He also worked as the custodian for the Eagles Club.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his dog, JJ, and playing pool.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Brandmeyer and Danny Brandmeyer, both of Burlington; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
The body has been cremated. There will be no visitation.
The graveside committal service for Mr. Brandmeyer will be 10 am Wednesday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with Chaplain Shirley Bliven officiating.
A memorial has been established.
